(ANSA) – ROME, JUL 01 – The friendly match ended 1-1 on the eve of Euro 2022 between Italy and Spain, in Castel di Sangro (L’Aquila). The Azzurre broke the deadlock at the beginning of the second half with Bergamaschi, Putellas equalized in the 67th minute.
Satisfied the coach, Milena Bertolini, who at the end commented on the performance against the Iberians in this way and spoke of the next debut with France: “To improve you have to compare yourself with the strongest. This was a game of great sacrifice: many things to improve, but a draw with Spain must give us conviction. The girls have qualities but only if they play together can they go far.
