Salernitana: medical visits for Botheim and Lovato

(ANSA) – SALERNO, 05 JUL – Salernitana is preparing to close two incoming operations. The forward Erik Botheim and the defender Matteo Lovato arrived in Salerno this morning.

The two players, shortly before 9 am, stopped at the Salerno check-up to carry out the medical examinations which, barring surprises, will precede the signing with the grenade club (four-year agreement for both). The Norwegian striker, after having released himself from the Russians of Krasnodar, arrives on a free transfer; the 22-year-old defender, on the other hand, will wear the grenade as part of the operation that will bring Ederson to Atalanta. The Brazilian, among other things, just in these hours greeted his former fans via social media: “I know that only a few months have passed, but they have been fantastic, together we have done what everyone thought was impossible”. Salernitana, meanwhile, continues to be very active on the market: the sports director Morgan De Sanctis is also close to closing the deal with Diego Valencia, a 22-year-old Chilean striker from the Universidad Católica and the national team.
