F1: the magic of Verstappen in Austria, his pole Sprint

With a flicker in the last sector, Max Verstappen mocked the Ferraris of Leclerc and Sainz and took pole for tomorrow’s Sprint Race – the second of the season, after Imola – which will define the starting grid for the scheduled Austrian Grand Prix Sunday at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg. A real roar accompanied the arrival of the Dutchman who beat Charles Leclerc’s Ferrari by 29 thousandths. The Monegasque and team mate Sainz have to settle for the second and third time. Fourth the other Red Bull, that of Sergio Perez, even if the Mexican is under investigation that will be completed only after the end of qualifying.

Tomorrow the Ferraris will try to do battle with Verstappen, starting with Charles Leclerc. “It was an exciting qualifying – the words of the Monegasque – I struggled in the last lap because I could not get the tires up to temperature after so long in the pits. Max was slightly faster, so congratulations to him. We hope to have fun tomorrow in the race. Tomorrow? I want to have a clean race. The last 5 races have been a disaster for me. I just hope that everything goes well this weekend so that we can finally get the points we deserve. ”
