Sacchi, teams-courage strengthen Italian football

(ANSA) – CASTIGLION FIORENTINO (AREZZO), JULY 09 – “Italian football is like Italy, always behind. But a strange thing is happening. Those who have more courage, which nevertheless implies preparation, are the ‘small’ teams like Sassuolo, Atalanta, Verona, who really play football as protagonists “. This was stated by former Milan and National team coach Arrigo Sacchi, protagonist of the Santucce Storm Festival literary salon in Castiglion Fiorentino (Arezzo) where he presented his books ‘The cup of the immortals’ and ‘Total football’. Sacchi talked about his successes with Milan, the American trip to the national team but also about the moment in his life when he had to stop playing football because he was no longer able to manage stress. “I have no regrets because I worked hard and this makes us feel good, there is a correlation between commitment and well-being. Stress can be positive but only if managed well”. So, on today’s football he has no doubts: “He must be braver. I come from the factory where I had to go quickly due to the death of my father and I have always applied the principles of work and courage. The country where I live has doubled the inhabitants thanks to young foreigners who, if routed well, could really represent a great sporting resource “. (HANDLE).
