Football: Naples; assault Chelsea, close to take Koulibaly

(ANSA) – NAPLES, JUL 13 – Chelsea suddenly accelerated the pursuit of Koulibaly and would be close to closing the purchase from Napoli. The rumors are confirmed by sources of the club from which there is talk of the Senegalese central defender’s approach to the English club. An approach that could close shortly with the achievement of the 40 million requested by Naples to open up to the sale of Koulibaly.

The farewell of Koulibaly, 31, after eight years in blue affects the net generational change of Napoli who has already said goodbye to Insigne, who moved to Toronto, and has not yet renewed with Mertens, 35, without a contract after the deadline of June 30th. Koulibaly’s contract expires in June 2023 and the defender has not accepted the proposed renewal of six million euros a year, so next summer he would leave for free.

Meanwhile, the club director Giuntoli has already turned on the lights on a possible replacement for Koulibaly: among the candidates there is Kim Min-Jae, 25 year old South Korean central of Fenerbache, but also Maxence Lacroix, 22 year old French central of Wolfsburg.

Practically taken, to complete the ifesa power stations, there is meanwhile Leo Skiri Ostigard, 22 year old Norwegian center close to signing for the blue pass from Brighton. (HANDLE).
