(ANSA) – LASTRA A SIGNA, 17 JUL – Tuscan derby yesterday in the late evening in the ring set up in the stadium of Lastra a Signa.
For the Italian title of Superpiuma weights Catalin Ionescu, 25, from Lastra a Signa, and Nicola Henchiri, 32, from Pisa from San Giuliano Terme, faced each other. To prevail for technical Ko at 2’50 “of the second round was Ionescu, who is therefore the new Italian champion of the category.
The match was short, but very intense. In the first round Henchiri, with a straight right, sent Ionescu to the mat. The home boxer recovered and then responded adequately.
