Paralympic: Skeet shooting; Cdm, Cuciti wins in Monaco

(ANSA) – MUNICH, JULY 19 – The second round of the World Cup 2022 of the WSPS (World Shooting Para Sport) gave Italy two medals in the functional classification of PT2, the one reserved for shooters with disabilities in the lower limbs .

The gold went to the neck of Saverio Cuciti, Tuscan shooter from Forte dei Marmi. The blue deserved entry into the final with a score of 113/125, entering the final round with bib number one. From the outset, his fiercest opponent was the Spaniard Ignacio Javier Oloriz Sanz and the two alternated in command for the entire duration of the series, finishing the series of regular jumps to gold medals with a score of 42/50. At the shoot-off Cuciti prevailed, gold with +7, while the Spaniard stopped at +6.

“I was already happy to have been called up by our coach, Prince Benedetto Barberini, after a year off – said Cuciti at the end of the match -, imagine now.
