(ANSA) – VENICE, 20 JUL – Umana Reyer has signed the international Marco Spissu, a 27-year-old playmaker and 184 cm. born in Sassari, coming from the Russian club of Unics Kazan, with whom he played in the last season in the VTB United League and in the EuroLeague with 25 appearances, average points of 5.1, shooting with 51.6% from two and the 52.9% from three. Raised in Banco di Sardegna Sassari, he made his debut at a very young age in 2011/12 in Serie A, totaling 4 appearances in the top flight also the following year, when he plays with double membership even among the amateurs of Tavoni Sassari. In the following four seasons he goes to Bari (LegaDue Silver), Casalpusterlengo (A2 Gold), Tortona and Virtus Bologna (A2). In 2017/18 he returns to Sassari, with whose shirt he plays 4 seasons in Serie A, one in the FIBA Europe Cup and three in the Basketball Champions League before moving to Kazan.
