Venice: US guard Freeman arrives from Moscow

(ANSA) – VENICE, 21 JUL – The Umana Reyer Venezia has reached an agreement with Allerik Freeman, an American guard of 1.90 meters, 28, from CSKA Moscow. Born in Norfolk, Virginia, Freeman grew up in Charlotte where he attended Olympic High School. At the College he plays for four seasons at Baylor University with which he reaches the Sweet 16 of the Ncaa in 2017.

In the 2017/18 season, he played for North Carolina State in 32 NCAA league games.

In July 2018 he played in the Summer League with the Sacramento Kings shirt before starting his professional career in Europe with Alba Fehervar, Hungary, with 29 games and 14.8 points per game, also competing in the Fiba Europe Cup. he then moved to Turkey, to Frutti Extra Bursaspor, then to the Chinese of Shenzhen Leopards in January 2020. In the 2020/21 season he made his Euroleague debut with Asvel Lyon-Villeurbanne (18 games and 7.4 points per game), then in January 2021 he returns to China for a brief experience with the Qingdao Eagles.

In the last season he returns to Frutti Extra Bursaspor, and finally in the first days of February he buys him the CSKA with which he plays 14 games of the Vtb League, with an average of 6.3 points with 47.2% from three and 95% to free. (HANDLE).
