(ANSA) – ROME, JUL 21 – The president of the FIGC Gabriele Gravina was received at Palazzo San Giacomo by the Mayor of Naples Gaetano Manfredi. The promotion of the sport and social combination, the development of the territory and investments in the field of training and culture were the topics at the center of the meeting which was also attended by the highest representatives of regional football.
Gravina has proposed Naples as the site, next winter, of an initiative that sees the involvement of all social forces to build an open platform in which sport, football in particular, acts as a driving force for the revitalization of the territory. Some needs of grassroots football were also discussed with the president of the Campania Committee, Carmine Zigarelli, starting from the need to activate a virtuous process on the theme of plant engineering.
