Gp France: Leclerc-Verstappen will be head to head

(ANSA) – ROME, JULY 21 – Sainz’s victory at Silverstone and Leclerc’s in Austria have given new life to a Formula 1 world championship that seemed marked for Ferrari. Next Sunday we will race in France, at Le Castellet, and the Snai slate has restored confidence to Ferrari and to Charles Leclerc, who starts with the same altitude (2.25) for the victory over the Dutchman. To complete the podium Lewis Hamilton, who after three consecutive podiums is played at 8.00.

More detached Perez (at 10), Russell (at 15) and the other Ferrari of Sainz (20), with the latter having to change the power unit, thus risking to sprint from the back of the grid. If Leclerc has reached Verstappen in the quotas for the race, in those for free practice and for qualifying, the Monegasque has recently always started with a point of advantage over his rival. The stake for pole position sees the Ferrari driver at 2.00, the Dutchman at 2.50. The latest results have shifted the antepost odds for the world title: Verstappen remains firmly in command, but a slight increase must be recorded, from 1.25 to 1.35. Leclerc, on the other hand, drops from 4.00 to 3.50. (HANDLE).
