(ANSA) – LA SPEZIA, 27 JUL – Daniel Maldini will join La Spezia in the next few hours for the 2022/23 season. The 20-year-old striker arrives on loan from Milan. This afternoon medical examinations are scheduled at a facility in Val di Magra and tomorrow the contract will be signed at the Ferdeghini sports center, home of the Ligurian club. For Maldini, the third generation of a family that has made the history of Italian football, this is what promises to be the ‘weaning’ season away from Milanello, in a club that has focused heavily on young players in the last two seasons.
If Maldini’s announcement is expected tomorrow, the Spezia of technical director Riccardo Pecini is preparing to close two more operations by the weekend. These are the signings of Viktor Kovalenko from Atalanta and goalkeeper Bartolomej Dragowski from Fiorentina, both outright. This second operation frees the sale of Ivan Provedel to Lazio.
