INTER: Lukaku-Lautaro is back, Inzaghi is back as favorite

After having lost the second title in the sprint with Milan, Inzaghi’s Inter is fierce and again with the role of favorite. The sprint start of the transfer market, with the return on loan of the goalscorer Lukaku who had experienced the move to Chelsea as a golden exile, sparked the enthusiasm of the fans, but the rest of Marotta and Ausilio’s work ended up getting complicated. Waiting for Skriniar’s sacrifice, which did not materialize because PSG never thought of going beyond 50 million (20 less than the request), the Nerazzurri did not insist with Dybala and allowed themselves to be overtaken by Juve, which instead De Ligt sold him for a fair amount, in the sprint for Bremer, best defender of last season. Now Inter must decide whether to make ends meet by selling Dumfries, or save elsewhere by cutting deadwood with top player salaries. In the supporting roles Inzaghi can be very satisfied: Mikhitaryan has taken the place (with different characteristics) of Perisic, Asllani is an excellent deputy Brozovic, on the flanks there is also the emerging Bellanova, Onana is studying as Handanovic’s heir. However, the errors with the super wages given in the past still weigh: Vidal left with a severance pay of 4 million while Sanchez refuses the various proposals even if a crack has opened with Marseille. Dzeko will take 7 million without being the owner and has refused an offer from Dortmund.
In short, a fluid situation. If Skriniar goes away, the goal will be Milenkovic, while Acerbi could still be the fourth center. Mindful of the experience with Zanioli, Inter have so far rejected Chelsea’s assault for the young talent Casadei.
However, the season promises to be favorable to Inzaghi. If the agreement between Lukaku and Lautaro produces the devastating effects of two years ago, it will be difficult to snatch the Scudetto from Inter.
