(ANSA) – ROME, AUGUST 11 – Tomorrow, at 8.45 pm, with the Parma-Bari advance, the 91 / a Serie B of football will start, the ‘league of Italians’, which this year aligns clubs rich in history. For the occasion, a special ceremony will be organized, thanks to the contribution of Parma, during which over 200 young people from the youth sectors of the club and from the companies affiliated to the Academy will build a dynamic tricolor, accompanied by the prestigious Parma Choir, led by Maestro Claudio Cirelli, who will sing the arias’ Va, Pensiero ‘and’ Libiamo ne ‘lieti calici’ by Verdi. Twenty players from the Parma youth sector will wave the Serie B logo in midfield dressed in the uniforms of the championship teams.
Before the start, the choir will perform the national anthem. Lega B intends to continue and implement awareness and social responsibility initiatives throughout the country during the season, in a year in which 14 regions are represented, distributed evenly throughout the peninsula, from north to south, from east to west.
The president of the Lega di B, Mauro Balata, underlines that “we are preparing to experience an exceptional championship for the tradition and the blazon of the clubs that make it up, constituting a source of pride and satisfaction for the whole ‘Serie B’ movement.
