European swimming: five gold medals arrive for the blues

Great and historic Italy of swimmingwho at the European Championships at home, in Rome, won his fifth gold medal today, after those of Minisini nel Sincro and then of Panziera, Ceccon and Martinenghi. In fact Simona Quadarella triumphed in the 800 meters freestyle swimming in 8: 20.54, followed by the German Marie Isabel Gose (silver in 8: 22.01) and the Turkish Merve Tuncel (bronze medal, time of 8: 24.33).

THE GOLD MEDALS In the 100 breaststroke Nicolò Martinenghi wins the gold medal with a time of 58.26, followed by the other blue Federico Poggio (silver with 58.98). The Lithuanian Andrius Sidluskas (59.50) closes the podium.

After Margherita Panziera’s gold in the women’s 200 backstroke, for Italy in swimming competing at the European Championships in Rome comes that of Thomas Ceccon in the 50 butterfly, with a time of 22.89. Silver medal for the French Maxime Grousset and bronze for the Portuguese Diogo Matos Ribeiro.

Panziera wins the gold medal and dominates with a time of 2:07:13 in the women’s 200 backstroke at the European swimming championships in Rome. She second place for the English Katie Shanahan, while the bronze goes to Dora Molnar.

Giorgio Minisini wins the gold medal of the synchro, with a score of 85.7033, at the European swimming championships in Rome in the men’s techinical only. Silver for the Spaniard Fernando Diaz Del Rio with 79.4951, bronze for the Serbian Ivan Martinovic with 58.8834. For Italy it is the second gold after that of Razzetti in the 400 medley.

THE SILVER MEDALS

The mixed blue relay made up of Thomas Ceccon, Nicolò Martinenghi, Elena Di Liddo and Silvia Di Pietro won silver in the mixed 4×100: the tricolor quartet finished the race with a time of 3: 43.61. Gold to the Dutch national team (3: 41.73) and bronze to that of Great Britain (3: 44.69).

The blue of Sincro Linda Cerruti is silver medal, with a score of 90.8839, at the European swimming championships in Rome in the techinical only. Only Ukrainian Marta Fiedina did better than her with 92.6394. Bronze, on the other hand, for the Austrian Alexandri Vasiliki with 90.0156.

Italy is silver medal with the highlights team in the synchro at the European swimming championships in Rome. The blue group composed of Domiziana Cavanna, Linda Cerruti, Costanza Ferro, Gemma Galli, Marta Iacoacci, Marta Murru, Enrica Piccoli, Federica Sala and Francesca Zunino, totaled the score of 91.7000. On the first step of the podium Ukraine with 94.0667, while on the third goes France with 89.2000.
