(ANSA) – FLORENCE, 12 AUG – On the eve of the championship, Rocco Commisso returned to Florence where he had been absent since last December when, for health reasons, he had to anticipate his return to the United States. The Fiorentina president immediately went to the ‘Davide Astori’ sports center, accompanied by his wife Catherine, to greet the coach Vincenzo Italiano (with whom there was a big hug) and the team that had just finished training. His arrival was greeted with great applause. Commisso will attend the debut match of the new season, the fourth for him at the helm of the club, which will see the viola face the Cremonese at the Franchi and immediately after (Thursday 18) he will make his debut as president of Fiorentina on the international scene on the occasion of the playoff first leg against the Dutch of Twente.
