(ANSA) – ROME, AUGUST 26 – From dream to reality, the Rally Italia Talent ‘runs’ the Mille Miglia. This is the case of 2 winners of the Big Brother of Motors, Marcello Peli and Daiana Darderi, who will participate in the 45th Rally Mille Miglia this weekend as a prize race with the Suzuki Swift fitted with Toyo and prepared by Gliese Engineering. It will be the first race ever for Marcello Peli who will be followed in all phases of the race by a dedicated tutor of Aci Rally Italia Talent, the Ligurian champion Sandro Sottile.
Thus the prize competitions for the winners of Aci Rally Italia Talent restart after the forced stop due to the restrictions due to Covid, all the other awards will be scheduled to follow.
Aci Rally Italia Talent is a sports format, organized in collaboration with ACI Sport, open to everyone, with or without racing experience, where only and exclusively the attitude to sport driving counts, designed to offer everyone, especially those who do not has ever raced and also opened to minors, the opportunity to make a dream come true: to participate for free at least once as a driver or official navigator in a rally. However, the aim is not only to identify new talents to introduce into the world of motor racing, but also to raise awareness among competitors on the issue of road safety for everyday driving.
The secret of the huge following of ACI Rally Italia Talent is well summarized by the hashtag #rallypertutti which is the slogan of the event. Faithful to the original format conceived in 2014 by Renzo Magnani, the event allows anyone, even those who have never raced, have never had a license and do not even have a driving license, to get involved and see their talent rewarded. The only requirement of the “rittini” is to be 14 years old, it being understood that for minors the parental release is required. Online registrations are still open on the homepage on the website www.rallyitaliatalent.it for the last 3 regional selections (Veneto, Puglia and Lazio) still to be played in the ninth edition of Aci Rally Italia Talent 2022, again with a reduced fee of 55 euros.
