Manchester United goes back even without CR7, 1-0 at Southampton

(ANSA) – ROME, AUGUST 27 – After two defeats in the first two games of the Premier League 2022/23, Manchester United conquers their second consecutive success. The ‘Red devils’, who opened matchday 4 with the away match at Southampton, won 1-0 thanks to Bruno Fernandes’ goal in the 10th minute. Dutch coach Erik Ten Hag initially kept Cristiano Ronaldo at rest (also Maguire on the bench), preferring to rely on the offensive trio formed by Sancho, Bruno Fernandes and Elanga, from right to left, behind Rashford.
