(ANSA) – ROME, AUG 28 – Hot atmosphere and very tense nerves between Vincenzo Montella and Mario Balotelli, after the match between Adana Demirspor and Umraniye, which ended 1-0 in favor of the team coached by the former Roma center forward, Genoa and Sampdoria, valid for the Turkish championship, and for which the former center forward of the national team plays. The two became the protagonists of a violent verbal altercation, filmed by the cameras of the Yeni Adana Stadyumu, which only due to the intervention of other players, technicians and managers, did not degenerate: after an exchange of accusations at a distance, Montella was slammed into his player and was detained by members of his staff.
The reason for the dispute is not clear but, from the images, we see Montella going into a rage after arguing with Balotelli. Possible according to the dynamics of the dispute, that the former blue has addressed offensive or inappropriate words to his coach.
