Maneuver: green light to apprenticeship in football

Green pass, Matteo Salvini:

(ANSA) – ROME, OCTOBER 29 – In the maneuver launched yesterday by the CdM, the possibility was introduced for professional clubs to stipulate vocational apprenticeship contracts.

“We are facing a revolutionary act, which will generate positive repercussions in the economic field, but above all in the social field” applauds the president of the Football Federation Gabriele Gravina, who also appreciates the introduction in primary schools of the hour of physical education with specialized teachers.

“I thank the Government – continues Gravina – for having accepted our request. The sensitivity of the Minister of Labor Orlando and the tenacity of the Undersecretary for Sport Vezzali have allowed football to score a splendid goal”.

In the report that will be submitted to the scrutiny of the two branches of Parliament, in fact, the possibility has been introduced for professional clubs to stipulate vocational apprenticeship contracts, setting the limit at 23 years of age. Once the Maneuver is approved, the clubs will then be able to hire players by reducing the tax impact, as long as they are concerned with their training and job start-up for post-career as a player.

“Since my presidency in Lega Pro – concludes Gravina, who has also included this application in the programmatic platform for candidacy for the federal presidency – I have always considered apprenticeships to be one of the key solutions to prevent football from continuing to grow ‘boys without future ‘. Especially in the first levels of professionalism and, taking into account the limited competitive life of a player, an adequate training course is necessary for entering the world of work once the boots are on the nail. ” (HANDLE).
