Former Dynamo Kyiv and Shakhtar Donetsk football player Andrey Kanchelskis once again confirmed his words that the Russian national team bribed opponents at the 2018 World Cup. The ex-forwarder, who has 36 matches for the national team of the aggressor country, noted that many people know about this fact, but they prefer to keep silent about it.
Kanchelskis stated this in an interview with the R-Sport propaganda news agency. Responding to criticism from many experts and fans, he called people in Russia idiots and added that the hosts of the 2018 World Cup played a fixed match not only with the Spaniards.
“I didn’t talk specifically about the Spanish national team. I talked about the entire World Cup. I don’t think we need to touch on this topic, because then they raised it, there were enough fools – they said that I was recruited. We have a lot of idiots with a sick imagination. Everyone knows perfectly well that this is true, but they are afraid to say simply, they are engaged in populism. But in fact, football people know about it,” said Kanchelskis.
Recall that at the home World Cup 2018, the Russian team defeated Spain in the 1/8 finals in a penalty shootout.
