The Russian Football Union (RFU) offered the singer Shaman to perform the Russian anthem in Baghdad at the match of the national team against the team of Iraq (March 26, 17:00). As a result, at the invitation of the RFU, the anthem of the Russian Federation will be performed by the singer Ramil’. He will also sing the songs “Xiai”, “See you” and “Dream”. The organizers will pay 1.5 million rubles for his performances. The show will be accompanied by a dance of whirling dervishes and ballerinas, which is supposed to symbolize the connection between East and West.
