The Russian Football Union (RFU) offered the singer Shaman to perform the Russian anthem in Baghdad at the match of the national team against the team of Iraq (March 26, 17:00). Yaroslav Dronov (real name of the artist) was also asked to sing his song “I am Russian”, which became the anthem of the propagandists of the Russian Federation.
According to insider Ivan Karpov on his Telegram channel, Dronov refused to speak, arguing that he had a busy schedule: he allegedly had planned shooting on Channel One and an event in Tyumen the next day.
Director of the artist Alexander Kachan confirmed the fact that the RFU contacted him. He referred to the fact that there were no substantive negotiations, since Shaman had already scheduled an event on the day of the match.
As a result, at the invitation of the RFU, the anthem of the Russian Federation will be performed by the singer Ramil’. He will also sing the songs “Xiai”, “See you” and “Dream”. The organizers will pay 1.5 million rubles for his performances. The show will be accompanied by a dance of whirling dervishes and ballerinas, which is supposed to symbolize the connection between East and West.
For Russian fans, this news caused a corporate hysteria.
“They got to the point that they offer to sing the anthem for who knows, plus they made a clearly nationalist song a symbol of this time. Well, perhaps that says a lot…” users write.
Others sarcastically recommend calling Gazmanov or Lyubov.
“Is this how you need to fall – so that” this “sings the national anthem?” – Russians comment on the choice of organizers.
As GLOBAL HAPPENINGS reported, on March 23, the Russian national football team was unable to beat the Iranian team. The friendly match in Tehran ended with the score 1:1.
