The legendary Dynamo Kyiv footballer Serhiy Rebrov confirmed that work in the Ukrainian national team is a priority for him. The head coach of the Emirati Al Ain reacted sharply to media reports that he was waiting for an offer from his club to extend the contract and would not become the coach of the blue-and-yellows.
Rebrov stated this in a commentary to Ukrainian Football. He advised fans and journalists to be skeptical about stuffing about the future, and also confirmed the desire to host the country’s main team in the summer and enter the qualifying tournament for the European Championship in 2024.
“Recently, a lot of rumors and insiders about me and the national team have appeared. But do you really think that I should comment on all this? I voiced my position on working in the Ukrainian national team, it is unchanged. Where does this insider information come from, you ask him” Rebrov noted.
His contract with Al Ain runs until this summer.
