WBC, WBA, IBF and WBO lightweight champion Devin Haney (29-0, 15 KOs) disparaged Ukrainian boxer Vasily Lomachenko (17-2, 11 KOs). During their first duel in New York, Haney refused to take off his black glasses, demonstrating his attitude towards the Ukrainian.
In the comments under the video, boxing fans reasonably noted that wearing glasses, an American fighter could “duel” for at least an eternity.
As GLOBAL HAPPENINGS reported, the 35-year-old native of Belgorod-Dnestrovsky came to the event in a black T-shirt with a Jesus Christ print. There were no blue and yellow shades on the Orthodox outfit that could associate the boxer with his homeland.
Note that a similar situation arose with Lomachenko before his battle with Jemaine Ortiz (16-1-1, 8 KOs). Ortiz first stood in front of the Ukrainians in sunglasses. After the claims, Jemaine opened his eyes.
