It is expected that in the last days of May, the Dynamo legend and Al-Ain coach Serhiy Rebrov will be announced as the new head coach of the Ukrainian national team. The former striker is ready to talk about professional successes and support his country during a full-scale war, but does not discuss his personal life. Although earlier he was repeatedly involved in scandalous stories.
On the eve of the proposed appointment, GLOBAL HAPPENINGS remembered the beloved women of the football player and coach and the stories that Rebrov got through through them.
GYMNAST LYUDMILA. In 1998, the 24-year-old Dynamo striker married Lyudmila, an economist. As the football player’s wife said, they practically did not have a candy-bouquet period. Young people almost immediately began to live together.
“After the unsuccessful game of the Ukrainian national team with the Croats, our company gathered in one of the capital’s clubs. Sergey was also invited to it. After that meeting, we never parted again. After dinner with friends, the very next morning, we went together to see off Sergeyev’s sister. we, unlike many, did not have a long period of courtship and evening telephone conversations. We were just always together. Probably, this can be called love at first sight, “Lyudmila recalled the acquaintance.
Interestingly, as a child, Lyudmila was engaged in gymnastics, and football players trained nearby. The boys got into the habit of going to training, throwing sweets, flowers, finding fault … Then she swore that she would never marry a football player in her life. But fate decreed otherwise.
In 1999, Lyudmila gave birth to Rebrov’s son Dmitry, and in 2000, together with the forward of the Ukrainian national team, she went to live in London – Sergey had just signed a contract with the English Tottenham. But happiness was not cloudless.
ROOF BREAKED. In the early 2000s, Rebrov had an affair with the popular singer Ani Lorak, who at that time was living in a civil marriage with her producer Yuri Thales. According to Yuri, they met while recording the album. For some time they were even friends with families with the Rebrovs, but then other feelings flared up between Karolina and Sergey.
“We met in London – it was a music festival to which I was invited. After that there was a party, and then, as it all happens, just a look, communication and some kind of interest in each other, this should all end, but a person was looking for ways, phone numbers, etc. When a man is obsessed, he achieves everything, ”Lorak admitted many years later.
“The roof was completely blown off by both of them – and both marriages were in jeopardy. For the first time in my life I understood what a woman’s love is, and I really envied this man. Carolina was ready to cancel the concert in order to meet him. Drop everything and fly to London” Thales recalled.
Then the producer made a lot of efforts to keep the singer – he met with the Rebrov family, discussed the problem with the football player’s wife: “She was depressed. But she found the strength to forgive her husband.” But Caroline, according to Falesi, was disappointed: “I blew dust off her, and Sergey just played.”
Later, the singer said that when Rebrov achieved what he wanted, he did not know what to do next: He offered me the role of a mistress, for which I was not ready. Feelings died at the germ level. I realized that this was not my way, and then nothing happened. At some point, when I understood all this, I said, “No, it won’t be like that!”
Rebrov stayed with Lyudmila, but, as subsequent events showed, Rebrov failed to glue the broken plate. It is believed that the marriage at that time of the Dynamo coach finally fell apart after the tragic events in the spring of 2013.
FATAL ACCIDENT. In March 2013, Rebrov’s wife Lyudmila had an accident near the Dynamo base in Koncha-Zaspa. Her SUV crashed into a Zhiguli, in which the people of Kiev, Evgenia and Vladimir Veremenko, were driving. 19-year-old Evgenia, who was five months pregnant, died. Vladimir spent several months in a private clinic, and Rebrov paid for the treatment.
After that, Lyudmila and her son finally moved to London, where the boy went to college and studied at the Tottenham football school.
TABIR ON THE DNEPR. And in October 2013, the paparazzi caught Sergey in the company of a young long-legged brown-haired woman in one of the shopping centers in Kyiv. The girl’s name was Anna, and the behavior of the couple showed that they were more than friends.
Later it turned out that Sergey and Anna met in July 2010. “My husband does not remember the exact date. And there is nothing wrong with that. His actions speak for a man,” Anna notes.
“It was a very romantic atmosphere, the banks of the Dnieper, good nature, in the evening we lit a fire. We fried sausages on such wooden sticks, and it all looked like a holiday camp for adults,” Rebrov’s wife said on her channel.
On the first day of their acquaintance, Sergey suggested that the girl ride an ATV on the sand: “He was driving so fast that I had to grab onto him and hold on very tightly so as not to fly off that ATV. After that, my hair was in the dust, but it was such adrenaline, What to say that I was delighted is to say nothing.
After that, Anna and Sergey began to communicate. The very next day, the footballer called on the phone and invited the girl to dinner. At the same time, during the first meeting, Anna did not recognize the forward of the Ukrainian national team in her new acquaintance. Only later, when she was given the name of Rebrov, she realized that she had heard about him somewhere, but did not remember in what area he worked.
“Probably, this bribed him. Because he himself told me what he was doing. I didn’t immediately find out that he was a legend of Ukrainian football. It seems to me that we didn’t just meet. Somewhere a month or two before we met I was on a bus from the university and sent a request to the Universe that I so want to love and be loved, ”Anna believes.
It turns out that for several years the couple was forced to hide their relationship. Then the brown-haired woman began to appear in the box at Dynamo matches and accompany Sergei to various events. And in the summer of 2016, it became known that Rebrov married for the second time and, apparently, is very happy.
Anna gave the coach two sons – Nikita and Alexander. For three years the family lived in Budapest, where Rebrov worked with Ferencváros, and then moved to the United Arab Emirates.
“A husband should not be a lifesaver in your life, he should complement you, and you should create a single whole,” Anna, who became a blogger in the Emirates and shoots programs for her own YouTube channel, revealed a little secret of her successful relationship.
