Qatar GP: Hamilton-Verstappen to the showdown

Rai, Dadone:

(ANSA) – ROME, NOV 18 – Just a week ago Max Verstappen saw the first title of his career very close. In Brazil he was the favorite, even before the penalty on the grid for Lewis Hamilton. With a comeback that smacks of enterprise, however, the Briton has shortened the distances in the standings and is relaunched in the race for the 2021 F1 World Championship.

On the eve of the Qatar GP on Sunday, the chances of a comeback for the seven-time champion have increased: Snai’s betting analysts see the eighth career success at 1.85, the same odds as rival Verstappen, who, however, currently boasts the first place in the standings with +14 points, a sign that the Mercedes driver is the favorite in the next rounds. Starting with the GP in Qatar, therefore, where Hamilton’s success is played at 1.65. Verstappen follows at a fair distance, so a win in the Losail race is worth 2.75 the stake. The others are far away: Valtteri Bottas, winner of the ‘Sprint’ a week ago, is offered to 10, while a success by Sergio Perez is played at 15. Ferrari follows with Leclerc at 33 and Sainz at 50.
