(ANSA) – NAPLES, NOV 22 – Victor Osimhen left the Niguarda hospital in Milan where he was hospitalized all night for observation, after the game incident that took place yesterday in the second half of the Inter-Napoli match. In the plane crash with Skriniar, the Nigerian footballer suffered a displaced fracture of his left cheekbone and orbital bone.
Osimhen will have to be operated on to reduce fractures and thus also shorten recovery times which in any case will be long.
The surgery, apparently, should be carried out in Naples. Only afterwards will it be possible to have a reliable prognosis, however Osimhen’s absence should last at least for a month, so the attacker should not be able to take the field until the stop of the championship for Christmas.
At the end of this period he was expected to leave to participate with the Nigerian national team in the Africa Cup.
