(ANSA) – TURIN, NOV 28 – Primoz Roglic wins the first edition of Beking Monaco, an event dedicated to cycling, solidarity and sustainable mobility conceived by Matteo Trentin in collaboration with Awe International Group and Live Your Passione. On the track in the Principality of Monaco, the Slovenian Lotto Jumbo champion, Olympic champion in Tokyo, crossed the finish line in front of the Italian Sonny Colbrelli and Tadej Pogacar.

The day opened with a Pro / Am that saw 12 teams – each made up of two professional cyclists, an ambassador from the Charlène Foundation of Monaco and two amateurs – engaged in a team time trial aimed at raising funds for the Michele Scarponi Foundation and for the Monegasque foundation. In the afternoon, Prince Albert of Monaco kicked off the Criterium, which saw Roglic triumph, awarded by Romy Gai, president of Awe Group International, and Claudia Morandini, organizers of the event. “It’s always nice to win and I think this has been a wonderful event – he comments -.
