Football: between Totti and Nesta, the Rome derby is a ‘great book’

(ANSA) – ROME, 08 DEC – A story full of anecdotes, which deserves a book. It’s the Rome derby, a meeting of intense rivalries even between friends, like the one between Francesco Totti and Alessandro Nesta, and more. At “Più Libri Più Liberi”, in progress at the Nuvola in Rome, the presentation of “The great book of the Rome derby” by Fabio Argentini and Luigi Panella.

The book, enriched by the prefaces by Totti and Nesta whose images with their respective shirts stand out on the cover, will be in all bookstores tomorrow 9 December. Together with the authors, Angelo Carotenuto, journalist and writer, and Sandro Bonvissuto, author of the literary success “Joy makes a lot of noise” intervened. Three hundred pages of stories, unpublished photos, anecdotes, stories: an unprecedented experience, a journey into the heart of the capital. The volume reports the chronicle of all the derbies played up to the present day, it also outlines the typical characteristics, the identity and the different stories of Rome and Lazio and of the fans. And it explores the history of shirts, colors, social coats of arms and all the aspects that characterize Roman societies. Not failing to tell the other main derbies that are played in Italy, in Europe and in the world.
