Paralympic: Pancalli re-elected member of the Board of the IPC

(ANSA) – ROME, 12 DEC – The President of the Italian Paralympic Committee Luca Pancalli has been elected, for the second consecutive time, a member of the governing board of the International Paralympic Committee, the reference body for world Paralympic sport. The vote took place at the IPC General Assembly which was held in Düsserdolf, Germany, and which reconfirmed Andrew Parsons as President. The number one of the CIP surpassed the competition of 25 candidates, resulting the most voted among the Europeans and one of the two representatives of the Old Continent on the board.

Luca Pancalli had already been the first Italian to hold this post.
