Football: Salernitana; trustees inform judicial authorities

Mattarella:

(ANSA) – SALERNO, 20 DEC – The trustees in charge of selling Salernitana have informed the judicial authority of some alleged anomalies that have been found among the offers received for the acquisition of the Campania club. In a note issued in the evening, Melior Trust and Widar Trust reiterated that none of the proposals received “is acceptable” as “lacking the requirements and / or conditions imposed by the act itself and / or the requirements necessary to confirm the economic soundness of the ‘buyer”.

The trustees Susanna Isgrò and Paolo Bertoli wanted to clarify above all some information reported by the press “about two offers that would have been presented by two entrepreneurs (the” Roman consortium “and the” Swiss consortium / Luxembourg Fund “)” . The trustees, in fact, specified that “in the first case, no offer has been presented to date”, while “in the second case, no guarantee, which the bidder had undertaken to produce, has been validly presented”. Furthermore, Melior Trust and Widar Trust explained that “the checks carried out were also carried out through direct contacts with the bank that appeared to be the issuer of this guarantee, which denied any involvement”. Therefore “for the protection of the seriousness and professionalism of the Trustees, they considered it essential to report the facts to the judicial authorities”. (HANDLE).
