(ANSA) – ROME, DEC 23 – Sailing as Formula One. After eleven years, Ernesto Bertarelli, patron of the Swiss Team Alinghi team, is back on track, announcing, during the presentation held in Geneva, the new challenge to the America’s Cup.
Bertarelli, an Italian-born entrepreneur and Swiss by adoption, already winner twice in 2002-2003 in Auckland, New Zealand and in 2007, in Valencia, Spain as a defender, will take part in the next edition of the America’s Cup, the number 37 together with Red Bull team, new world champion drivers.
A twinning that brings the world of racing ever closer to that of F1 car speed, since Mercedes will support Ineos and Luna Rossa in the next Cup in the future could probably count on Ferrari in the future.
The return of Alinghi will be discussed in the column “L’UOMO E IL MARE”, the rotogravure edited and conducted by Giulio Guazzini, broadcast tonight at 9.50 pm on RAISPORT + HD.
In addition to the exclusive interview with Ernesto Bertarelli, there will be plenty of space for the Luna Rossa challenge in New Zealand, retracing from the beginning the extraordinary work of the team led by Patrizio Bertelli, patron of the Italian Union. (HANDLE).
