With Daniele Santarelli, new coach of the national team of Belgrade, world champion in women’s volleyball, the list of Italian coaches – in all sports – is being called up from abroad to bring knowledge and victories. Santarelli’s 2022 began with the victory of the Italian Cup with his Conegliano and immediately after with the signing of a three-year period (with double assignment) which made him the first foreign coach on the bench of the Serbian national team, after 19 years of monopoly by Zoran Terzic: “With Serbia I raised my bar, now I can beat Italy then one day I dream of coaching them”, admits the coach of Conegliano to ANSA, who between 2018 and 2021 has already lived the experience of double assignment, between the Imoco bench and that of the Croatian national team.
