Italian amateur astronomer Gianluca Masi, who owns several powerful telescopes, filmed the flight of an unguided SpaceX rocket that will soon crash into the moon

Masi admitted that making the video was problematic due to light interference from the moon, which makes the amateur’s achievement all the more amazing.
“This is the Falcon 9 launch vehicle that will hit the Moon in early March. See how it flashes as it spins!” Gianluca tweeted.
The video is in poor quality, however, it shows how the object is spinning in space and flickering, reflecting light from the Sun.
What is this rocket and why is it flying to the moon
- The SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched the Deep Space Climate Observatory into space in 2015, and then the second stage was left flying without control, as it did not have enough fuel to re-enter the atmosphere.
- Some time ago it became known that an unguided rocket is heading towards the Moon and will crash into the back side of the Earth satellite around March 4th.
- Falcon 9 is most likely to fall closer to the satellite’s equator. The step will crash into the surface at a speed of approximately 2.58 km/s.
- However, Elon Musk will not be punished for this. The lawyers explained that the problems of a billionaire can arise only in one case.
