Innovation: Tecnest, more digitalization and increased turnover

(ANSA) – UDINE, 16 FEB – Tecnest, a company specialized for 35 years in software solutions for manufacturing companies, closed 2021 in profit, expanding and with 5.6 million in turnover, a strong increase (+ 18%) compared to 2020.

The growth of Tecnest, of Tavagnacco (Udine) is due to the greater diffusion of the digitalization of production as a fundamental asset for growth and to the focus on technologies dedicated to the Industry 4.0 world.

Fabio Pettarin, president of Tecnest, underlines the “strong vision oriented towards the future” by announcing “the forthcoming release of the new APS and a new platform in the MOM field”, as well as “an extension of the network of both technological and commercial partners”. Considering one factor in particular: “trustworthiness, which is already today, and will be increasingly so in the future, the objective and the highest priority for Tecnest”.

The company hired a dozen people over the course of 2021 between young people and senior figures and, after the opening of a second office (2018, in Lissone, Monza Brianza), it has just inaugurated a third office, in Bologna, which will become a point of reference for customers in Central Italy. Tecnest has developed a consolidated experience for the bidirectional connection of systems and devices to the MES (only in 2021 it interconnected over 300 machines in different sectors and production areas) and is specializing in servitization and energy saving using Edge computing and artificial intelligence, combined with scheduling techniques.
