Roskomnadzor will bring to administrative responsibility the well-known Internet encyclopedia Wikipedia for an article titled Russia’s Invasion of Ukraine (2022).

The Russians called the war in Ukraine a “special operation”, so they considered the article on Wikipedia to be disinformation.

Roskomnadzor twice demanded to remove the article, but the administration of the encyclopedia did not listen to the invaders, so now in the Russian Federation they decided to hold the service accountable.

Wikipedia will draw up a protocol in accordance with article 13.41 of the Russian Code of Administrative Offenses, but at the same time, once again, probably the last one, they are asked to remove the content.

The sanction under this article of the Code of Administrative Offenses implies a fine of 800,000 to 4 million rubles for legal entities, reports naked-science.ru.

By the way, we already wrote that Russia itself blocked Instagram, and a billion compensation is required from Meta. Bloggers were afraid to go with the same claim to Roskomnadzor.
