(ANSA) – ROME, APRIL 04 – The notices for the digitization of local Public Administrations are launched today throughout Italy, the first step of the mega project of the NRP which, with an allocation of 2.65 billion by 2026, involves 22,353 administrations. It starts with the Municipalities that will be able to benefit from around 400 million to strengthen their digital identity (SPID and electronic identity card), migrate collection services to pagoPA and activate as many services as possible on appIO. Institutions will be able to apply on a specific platform by joining the standard projects already prepared. At the end of the month, explains the Ministry of Digital Transition, another tranche will be launched for schools.

The funds will also progressively be allocated to the migration to the cloud (already from the end of this month) and the implementation of the ‘notification platform’, the unique infrastructure that will allow PAs to notify legal administrative documents to individuals and legal entities. The resources will be assigned in order of booking with the delivery of vouchers, predefined sums by type and size of the local administration.

The process, already illustrated by the Minister for Technological Innovation and Digital Transition Vittorio Colao at the Unified Conference, was carried out through constant interaction with Anci, Upi and Regions. In fact, in addition to the Municipalities, Regions and Provinces, Local Health Authorities, schools, universities and research bodies will gradually be involved. “Municipalities are the closest to the needs of citizens and for this – affirms Colao – they must be considered the starting point for the digital transformation of the Public Administration”.
