Space tourists have finally been able to leave the International Space Station. The Crew Dragon capsule undocked from the orbital laboratory today at 4:00 am Kyiv time.

The crew is expected to land off the coast of Florida around 20:00 Kyiv time, according to space.com.

“Thanks again for all the support on this amazing adventure we had. Even longer and more interesting than we thought. We really appreciate your professionalism,” said Ax-1 mission commander Michael Lopez-Alegria.

A team of “civil cosmonauts” departed for the ISS on April 8 and was due to return to Earth on April 19, but the return was repeatedly delayed due to bad weather.

They also had to worry about space debris that nearly collided with the ISS. The crew had to maneuver to avoid the wreckage of the Russian satellite.
