The Chinese drone manufacturer DJI has left the Russian and Ukrainian market after being accused of helping the Russian military in the war against Ukraine.

The company issued a statement that their products cannot be used for military purposes.

“DJI does not tolerate any use of our drones to cause harm, and we are temporarily suspending sales in these countries to ensure that no one is using our drones in combat,” the company said.

Recall that after the accusations against the campaign, its products were no longer sold in Germany and the Netherlands.

What was DJI accused of?

The Chinese manufacturer limited the capabilities of its Aeroscope technology to the Ukrainian army, while at the same time providing this opportunity to the occupiers.

DJI Aeroscope is a special equipment that allows you to track the movement of any DJI drone within a radius of up to 50 km.

Besides, Aeroscope technology allows you to see the exact position of the drone operator, as well as his personal data, which he used when registering with DJI. Thus, Russian troops can track Ukrainian operators, but ours cannot, since access to the technology is closed.
