WhatsApp will finally offer the function that many expect

WhatsApp Even though it is used by a large majority of people around the world, the solution still suffers from many cumbersome issues. Between its old-fashioned interface and the absence of certain flagship functions, we can even say that it lags behind other tools.

Its publisher seems to be aware of this since he has deployed many updates in recent weeks.

And the next one will undoubtedly be the most important of all.

WhatsApp will soon be able to synchronize on two smartphones

You know this if you use WhatsApp, but the solution is not limited to your smartphone. It is also possible to enjoy his largesse from a computer or from a tablet. To do this, simply install the client and connect our smartphone by scanning a QR Code generated especially for the occasion.

This feature has been available for a while, but the developers of the solution have made a number of changes to how it works. In particular with the arrival of the multi-device sacrosanct, mentioned in detail in this dossier.

The multi-device works exactly the same way, with one difference: once the connection is initialized, it is no longer necessary to maintain it.

In other words, once the QR Code has been scanned, you can continue to exchange with your friends and colleagues from your computer… without needing your phone.

No date for the deployment of this function

If this function responds to a lot of problems, it still suffered from a major flaw: it only applies to computers and tablets. Soon it will be ancient history.

WABetaInfo indeed discovered in the last beta of WhatsApp a new function allowing to benefit from the multi-devices on… two smartphones simultaneously!

An important addition. Until now, the multi-device did not allow to find his account and his discussions on a second phone. As a result, people with multiple devices had to create two separate accounts and possibly request to be invited twice to conversations they wanted to follow from their two phones.

Thanks to this update, this will no longer be the case. Our colleagues also indicate that WhatsApp will be able to automatically synchronize our exchanges on the two devices. On our side, we will have nothing in particular to do.

However, it is not yet clear when this function will be implemented in the final version of the application. The publisher of the solution has indeed announced nothing on his side.
