The Solar Orbiter made detailed pictures of the Sun, that on the fiery star you can see needles that look like hedgehogs. At the same time, the “photographer” heated up to 500 ° C

The sun was “revealed” with unprecedented detail thanks to new images and data collected by the Solar Orbiter of the European Space Agency (ESA). The device managed to get very close to the star.
Also for those of you who missed the total lunar eclipse, check out these stunning images of the Full Bloody Moon. Returning to the Sun, according to ESA scientists, the ship’s thermal protection reached a scorching 932 Fahrenheit (500 degrees Celsius).
Solar physicist Dr David Bergmans of the Belgian Royal Observatory said:The images are truly breathtaking.Dr. Bergmans is the principal investigator for the Solar Orbiter Extreme Ultraviolet Imager (EUI), which makes high-resolution images of the corona, a layer of the sun.
This solar layer causes the most space weather activity. And the attention of researchers was attracted by one feature – the solar structure, which experts called “hedgehog”.

As the name suggests, this feature is many bursts of hot and cold gas that stretch out in all directions, spanning a whopping 15,534 miles. Looks very impressive. In addition to the photo of the sun urchin, Solar Orbiter also studies more subtle phenomena, such as the influence of the Sun on the heliosphere.
Recall that earlier we wrote that the Tesla Model 3 was turned into an electric tank and a crazy video was shot.
