Is it still a surprise nowadays? Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, the unbreakable chestnut tree of the Nintendo Switch, once again takes the head of sales. A first position already occupied an incalculable number of times by this same Wii U port, a sign if it were still necessary to the incredible success of the multiplayer game on the hybrid console of Nintendo.

All is well for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

The Goku gang is still popular with the French public – the proof is with the second position in this ranking, occupied by the Nintendo Switch port of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot + A New Power Awakens Set, GOTY version of Bandai Namco’s title initially released in 2020.

Another staple of the Switch for third place in the weekly ranking: Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the Nintendo phenomenon also released last year, is still a hit in France. The news of Animal Crossing will be entitled to a new boost during this month of October – the Kyoto firm has promised the broadcast of a Nintendo Direct specially dedicated to the slice-of-life title, with the hope for new content updates… and hopefully the upcoming arrival of the Halloween season.

The fourth place of the top sales is occupied by… a PlayStation 5 game. Lost Judgment is the new entry in the very young SEGA franchise – itself derived from the saga of Yakuza – and stages the taciturn detective Takayuki Yagami, leading the investigation in a high school in the district of Isezaki Ijincho, in the city of Yokohama. This sequel to Judgment first of the name will feature a whole new slew of different mini-games (skateboarding, dancing, boxing) accompanied by 8 complete unlockable Master System games.

He opened the classification and closes it in fifth place: the mustached plumber returns once again with Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury, the enhanced port of the 2013 Wii U game. This version has been added Bowser’s Fury, a brand new open-world game mode that drastically changes the structure of the original title.
