Facebook has updated its community feedback policy, namely: the company has introduced new rules to combat fraudulent claims on business pages.

We also wrote earlier whether it makes sense to buy an electric car in Ukraine. The popular social network’s new policy applies to any bad reviews left, for which companies pay users. That is for fake complaints on business pages, who leave to receive a refund, free goods or services.

The new rules will also apply to positive reviews without specifics (usually businesses pay for them), reviews that have nothing to do with the activity of this business page and spam.

If a client (user) violates any of these rules, the company Facebook will delete comment and ban access to tags products and listings, and will suspend or block “access to any or all Meta products or features,” the new rules say.

Accounts of repeat offenders, i.e. those whoever breaks the rules again can be banned or suspended.
