The Russian occupiers could not withstand the fire of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and fled from the Serpent’s Island in the Black Sea. In particular, our soldiers attacked the invaders from the Bogdan self-propelled howitzer.

The site “Today” told what kind of weapon it was.

Ukrainian howitzer

As noted, the 2S22 “Bogdan” is a Ukrainian wheeled self-propelled howitzer with a 155 mm barrel. It became the first Ukrainian self-propelled guns designed for the “NATO” caliber 155 mm. The first public mention of the self-propelled guns “Bogdan” appeared on July 14, 2018.

The self-propelled artillery mount is built on the KrAZ-63221 chassis with a twin armored cabin for servicing a combat vehicle, and also has an automated guidance system based on Siemens SIPLUS and SIMATIC HM controllers and an automatic ammunition supply system for 6 rounds.

Also, journalist Roman Bochkala posted a video of how Bogdan worked on Snake Island:

Earlier, the Segodnya website wrote that the occupiers are trying to “sell” their failure on Serpent’s Island to the Russians as a victory. They said the retreat was not a flight, but “a move of good will.” Also, the Ukrainians ridiculed Russia’s pathetic excuses for Serpentine – we found the best memes.
