(ANSA) – MILAN, 07 JUL – From Friday 8 July it will be possible to order the new MacBook Air with M2 chip. With a new slim design in four colors, a larger 13.6-inch Liquid Retina display, 1080p HD camera, MagSafe charging and more, the company will open it from 2pm on Friday access to the online store, with deliveries expected from 15 July. With a thickness of 11.3mm and a weight of 1.24kg, the MacBook Air with M2 chip is 20% more compact than the previous generation. In addition, thanks to the processor’s energy efficiency, the laptop can offer powerful functions in a fanless design that makes it always silent. In addition to the traditional versions in silver and space gray, Apple has launched two other colors: midnight and galaxy. New to the model is the Magic Keyboard, with a full-sized row of function keys with Touch ID, a large Force Touch trackpad, and the 13.6-inch Liquid Retina screen that pushes closer to the edges and camera to make space for the menu bar. The result is a larger display, with thinner edges and a larger viewing area that allows you to see any content in defined detail. MacBook Air also has a four speaker sound system. To fit such a slim design, speakers and microphones have been fully integrated between the keyboard and display, while still delivering a better experience. Three microphones capture clear, clean audio thanks to beamforming algorithms, while the speakers have improved stereo separation and produce clearer voices. Additionally, MacBook Air supports spatial audio for music and movies with Dolby Atmos. MacBook Air with M2 chip, available in midnight, galaxy, silver and space gray colors, is on sale starting at € 1,529 and € 1,414 for the education sector. (HANDLE).
