Gmail: the small hidden menu that centralizes your purchases and subscriptions

Think you know Gmail like the back of your hand? Did you know that the service conceals a dashboard centralizing all purchases and subscriptions that have passed through the messaging system?

Some of you may know this, but Gmail doesn’t just log and display emails. The service has indeed gained in intelligence and agility over the years. It is now able to analyze the content of our emails and even understand their meaning.

Google introduced a tab system in the inbox a few years ago. Very effective, the latter makes it possible to dissociate traditional emails from those related to social networks, promotions, notifications or even forums.

Gmail, an intelligent and agile service

Better yet, if you receive a reservation by email, then Gmail will even be able to save it in your schedule as a dedicated event. And that’s without counting on all the related functions that the service offers.

And precisely, thanks to all this data, Google was able to integrate into our account management tool a dashboard centralizing all our purchases and our subscriptions in one place.

We will of course explain in this file how to access it.

How do I access the Purchases and Subscriptions dashboard?

The dashboard in question is directly integrated into the Google account. By extension, this means that it is accessible from all the services of the firm, and in particular from Gmail.

To open it, just follow the following steps:

  1. Open Gmail;
  2. Click on your avatar image at the top right;
  3. Click on the “manage your Google account” button;
  4. Gmail opens a new tab;
  5. Pay your attention to the left sidebar;
  6. Click on the “Payments and subscriptions” menu;

Google will then show you several maps. At the top, you will find an insert providing access to the management of payment methods associated with your Google Pay account.

The most interesting, however, is found below. Several inserts await you indeed. The first is called “experience with Google Pay” and it will list all the transactions made on the account.

You can, however, scroll down a little further to find three extremely important inserts: Purchases, Memberships, and Reservations.

These, as their name suggests, will allow you to access all purchases made online through Google services, but also subscriptions associated with your Google account and your reservations. In the latter case, the dashboard will display your flights, but also stays booked with hotels.

Not everyone will necessarily use this dashboard, but it can be useful when you want to find a particular purchase or reservation.
