Cannabis, Santori:

(ANSA) – ROME, JUL 14 – Apple and Jony Ive – historic designer of the American giant since Steve Jobs – will not renew the collaboration contract that saw the former Apple creative working with the company through his new startup, LoveFrom. According to the New York Times, the reason is in the veto that Apple had given to Ive about possible new competing customers of the iPhone and Mac manufacturer. The Times says that both parties have agreed not to extend the contract in the weeks leading up to its renewal and to stop working together for the first time since the 1990s. A proponent of the design of the group’s first smartphones, as well as the iPod, iPad and Apple Watch, Ive left the tech giant in 2019 after more than two decades, helping to create successful products. He recently supervised the first examples of Apple’s augmented and virtual reality glasses, of which there is no news yet. According to some sources, LoveFrom’s multi-year contract with the Cupertino company was worth $ 100 million and prohibited the company from undertaking any project that the developer considered competing with its products. Ive reportedly wanted the freedom to do business freely, without having to ask Apple for permission. The latest product Ive designed while working for Apple was the 2019 Mac Pro, also taking part in the making of the AirPods Max and iMac M1. (HANDLE).
