(ANSA) – MILAN, JULY 27 – On August 10, Samsung will hold its Unpacked 2022 event with which it will present the new Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 folding models. In the last few hours, the Giznext site has published the alleged press materials that would resume the colors with which the second model, Flip 4, will be marketed from the end of August. Giznext teamed up with well-known whistleblower Steve Hemmerstoffer, better known on Twitter as @onleaks, to reveal renders of the flip phone. The images show the complete design of the next leaflet along with the color options. The Galaxy Z Flip 4 will feature the same format as the current version, the Z Flip 3, with a small outer screen and the inner portion that, when opened, forms a 6.7-inch panel. The colors are Graphite, Pink Gold, Blue and Bora Purple. The latter is not entirely new as Samsung has made it available for a variant of the Galaxy S22.
According to recent reports, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 will be sold in three different models, including 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB and 8GB + 512GB. No news on prices. “As far as features are concerned, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 is known to bring some major upgrades over its predecessor,” Giznext writes. “One of the major hardware differences will be the chipset. Samsung is rumored to be using Qualcomm’s latest flagship processor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus while the software is expected to be Android 12.” The source speculates that the rear camera module, double, will be 12 mp + 12 mp, while for selfies we will rely on the 10 megapixel internal camera. The Unpacked event on August 10 will see as probable protagonists, in addition to the two folding smartphones, also the fifth generation of Galaxy Watch smartwatches and the high-end Galaxy Buds 2 Pro earphones.
