(ANSA) – OLBIA, 28 JUL – The interactive exhibition “House of robotics” arrives at Olbia Costa Smeralda airport. From 30 July to 31 August, the Gallura airport hosts an exhibition dedicated to the theme of robotics and the man-machine relationship.
Promoted by Opificio Innova, with Innois and the contribution of the Fondazione di Sardegna, the exhibition, which also sees the Olbia University Consortium as a partner, will be animated by examples of artificial intelligence and robotics from all over the world.
Visitors will be able to admire and interact with Robothespian, the humanoid robot made by Engineered Arts, with an expressive range and movements that make it the perfect talking robot. Another jewel of the exhibition is Felix, the humanoid robot created with scraps of 2d printers and 3d printed pieces created by Nicola Mereu, mechanical engineer, collaborator and partner of FabLab Cagliari.
House of Robotics showcases, among others, Comau Mate Exoskeleton, an invention designed to reduce the muscular effort of the worker and improve his posture, safeguarding his health, preventing injuries, and reducing the times of the operating cycle, and Comau e. Do, a modular, multi-axis articulated robot with integrated open-source intelligence designed to make learning, creation, exploration and programming fun and more interactive.
The exhibition also offers virtual reality to visitors, who thanks to this technology will be able to live an immersive experience on a roller coaster. (HANDLE).
