Far Cry 6: Ubisoft hid a reference to Assassin’s Creed

Ubisoft recently launched the new episode of one of its big franchises: Far Cry 6. Don’t expect a revolution, the game is keeping the guideline adopted by the third episode. Players are propelled into an open world that can be explored together with a big RPG aspect. With its first person view, this nervous FPS even has fun doing a little humor against a background of dictatorship. Here you have to free your people while having a good time! And as always with Ubisoft, many references creep in. The latest, shared on Twitter and available below, directly echoes Assassin’s Creed, the company’s most popular franchise for ten years.

And good news for players, this reference is located on the Cayo Seguro peninsula where the game begins.

As in Assassin’s Creed, it is possible to jump into the pile of hay on the ground with an eagle cry as a bonus. A direct nod to the famous Leap of Faith (abandoned since Assassin’s Creed Origins).

But beware, the hero of Far Cry is not able to land in the hay. You have to deploy your parachute or else you will fall fatally because of the damage.

Obviously, a death in Far Cry 6 is never fatal and a quick respawn takes place nearby. There are no achievements to unlock for this action, just a humorous memory and an eagle cry through your headphones / speakers.

Available for barely a week, October 7 to be precise, Far Cry 6 has not revealed all its secrets and there is no doubt that other references are hidden.
